Toronto Police Service announces retirement of Director of Corporate Communications

Effective Thursday, September 27, 2018, Mark Pugash, Director of Corporate Communications will be retiring after 15 years of service with the Toronto Police Service.

Mark’s career in media relations and communications has extended over three decades, providing advice and support to three police services including the Metropolitan Police Service in London, England.

“I would like to thank Mark for his advice and support,” said Chief of Police Mark Saunders. “I wish him well in his retirement and, on behalf of the Toronto Police Service, offer our appreciation for his many years of service.”

“Working for one of the largest municipal police services in North America has been a highlight of my career,” said Mark Pugash. “While I look forward to my retirement, I am proud of my service and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with the professional and dedicated members of the Toronto Police.”

Meaghan Gray has been named Acting Director of Corporate Communications until further notice.
