Sexual Exploitation investigation, Carlo Rossi, 61, Faces two charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Exploitation investigation.

It is alleged that:

  • Carlo Rossi is a teacher at Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute
  • during the month of September 2018, on more than one occasion, he had inappropriate conversations of a sexual nature while on school property, with a boy who is a student at the school

Members of the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) conducted an investigation and on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, Carlo Rossi, 61, of Vaughan, was arrested and charged with:

  1. Sexual Exploitation
  2. Invitation to sexual touching

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park Court on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at 10 a.m., Courtroom 501.

Program (Halton Trauma Centre), Child Development Institute, the Suspected Child Abuse
and Neglect Program (The Hospital for Sick Children) and the Victim Witness Assistance
Program.
