The Toronto Police Service will be celebrating Black History Month on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 6 p.m., at the Jamaican Canadian Association with members of the community.
The theme of this year’s Black History Month is “The future is now.”
Toronto Police in partnership with community members and organizations will be recognizing the leadership of Black youth that made an impact on their city. The event will also feature performances by students from the Etobicoke School of the Arts.
Immediately following the event there will be an informal reception with refreshments.
