The Desktop Computer Soon Becoming an Ancient Artform?

Is the desktop becoming an ancient form of art? I received my first desktop computer from my father back in 1986. It was the first home use IBM computer. I loved it! I would write “Dr. Donna Kakonge,” on the screensaver, and just sit there sometimes when I was not doing homework and just stare at that flashing image.

I would say that desktop computers are art. I would say that I also understand why smartphones have become so popular in a crowded world, with many people, with many people that do not even have space in their living quarters to keep a desktop computer.
