Last Day to Help JHR Give Youth A Voice!
Dear Donna Kakonge,
Today is the last day of JHR’s groundbreaking Give Youth A Voice campaign – six weeks of raising awareness and taking action to help youth world wide.
To date, we have raised $20,077.76, surpassing our goal of $15,000!
We thank all of you who have acted to make this Holiday campaign a success through your enormous generosity and support. And there is still time to make JHR your charity of choice in 2018. Help us help youth find their voice and vocation – world wide. Support the campaign with a last-minute gift, or become a monthly donor through 2018 here
If you have not yet read all the stories of how your support can help change young people’s lives, click the links below!
We started by sharing the story of Leslie Spence
who set up a youth radio station in Webequie First Nation and Emilee Gilpin
who found a job after her JHR internship.
We shared how young Syrian journalists are working with JHR to get news out to the Syrian people, as reported by CTV News,
We recognized Jordanian journalist Nour Ezz Addin
for her powerful and courageous reporting on torture.
And we both supported and celebrated young media entrepreneurs
in South Africa, for their work coming up with bright new ideas to reach out to young people across South Africa.
These brave young journalists strengthen our work and the casue of strong media world wide.

Thank you again for your support. Without you, none of this would be possible.
