OTTAWA-GATINEAU, le 18 juillet 2012 -Aujourd’hui, le Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des télécommunications canadiennes
Le Conseil des télécommunications (CRTC) a annoncé que la programmation locale
Fonds d’amélioration sera éliminé d’ici le 31 août 2014. La contribution

à leurs clients seront retirés de leurs factures.

“Le Fonds a été créé pour veiller à ce que les stations de télévision aient les ressources
répondre aux besoins des Canadiens en matière de programmation locale. Nous sommes satisfaits du
le soutien qu’il a fourni au cours d’une période économique difficile “, a déclaré Leonard
Katz, vice-président des télécommunications du CRTC et président de l’audience

Les entreprises de distribution par câble et par satellite doivent préparer un rapport décrivant les mesures

réductions. Ils doivent également fournir la preuve que les consommateurs ont été

les rapports doivent être soumis au CRTC d’ici le 17 septembre 2012.
