Man wanted in child-luring investigation, Toronto Public Library, 620 Jane Street, Security camera images of man released

The Toronto Police Service requests assistance locating a man wanted in a child-luring investigation.

On Monday, March 27, 2017, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to a call for a suspicious incident at the Toronto Public Library, 620 Jane Street.

It is reported that:

– a 12-year-old boy was in the library

– a man passed him a note

– the note asked the boy to engage in sexual activity

– the boy notified library staff

– the man fled the library

The man is described as 18-20, 5’10”, thin build with black hair shaved on the sides. He was wearing black Adidas trackpants, black jacket, shirt with Blue Jays logo on it, carrying a black backpack.

Security camera images of the man are released.
