Rush-Hour Route Enforcement Campaign Results, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 to Friday, September 9, 2016

The enforcement of the city’s rush-hour routes and other traffic and parking offences continues to be a priority for the Toronto Police Service. On Tuesday, September 6, 2016 to Friday, September 9, 2016, the Service launched a heightened rush-hour route enforcement campaign. This campaign focused on the traffic congestion and gridlock of the rush-hour routes within the downtown core. Parking Enforcement Officers and members from Traffic Services saturated the downtown core during morning and afternoon rush hours.

The campaign focused on the areas bounded by Bloor Street to Front Street, and Parliament Street to Dufferin Street.

The Rush-Hour Route Enforcement Campaign Results are as follows:

Parking Tickets Issued: 1,467
Vehicles Towed: 298
