Police request assistance with investigation into Sexual Assault on subway train, Security camera images of wanted man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, shortly after 4:30 p.m., an 18-year-old woman was on a northbound subway train near St. George subway station

– a male passenger sexually assaulted her

– the 18-year-old woman exited the subway at Downsview subway station and the male passenger left in an unknown direction

– she reported the matter to police

The man is described as in his mid-20s, 5’11”, with short brown hair and a dark-brown beard. He was wearing a grey T-shirt, dark pants and open-toed sandals. He was carrying a black messenger bag slung across his shoulder and a large black case.
