Toronto Police Service seeking public input on creation of community police academy
Friday, August 26, 2016 – 9:14 AM
Divisional Policing Support Unit
The Toronto Police Service recognizes that public expectations of its police service have changed with priority placed on transparency, accountability, and collaborative, respectful engagements.
That is why the Service is creating a Community Police Academy, available to all members of the public.
In an effort to ensure the Academy meets the needs of the community, a short survey has been designed to get the public’s feedback. The survey, available until September 5, 2016, at 10 p.m., can be accessed here.
It is expected the first Community Police Academy will be available in the fall of 2016. Details will be provided at a later date.
