On Sunday, May 1, 2016, the 22nd GoodLife Fitness Toronto Marathon will take place. The event will consist of a full marathon, relay marathon, half marathon, 10km run and 5km run and walk.

Start times:
Full marathon and 10km Run: 7:30 a.m.
Relay: 7:50 a.m.
5 km run: 8 a.m.
Half marathon: 8:30 a.m.
5 km walk: 12 p.m.

TTC vehicles will be assisted through gaps in the run, where possible and when it is safe to do so. Every attempt will be made to minimize service interruption.

Motorists are advised to consider the road closures when planning their travels.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

There will be road closures on the following streets:

Beecroft Road – full road, from Elmhurst Avenue to Horsham Avenue,
5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Ellerslie Avenue – full road, from Beecroft Road to Yonge Street,
7 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Churchill Ave – full road, from Beecroft Road to Yonge Street,
7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
North York Boulevard – full road, from Beecroft Road to Yonge St,
5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Elmhurst Avenue – full road, from Beecroft Road to Yonge Street,
7 a.m to 9 a.m.
Park Home Avenue – full road, from Beecroft Road to Yonge Street,
7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Yonge Street – Southbound, from Horsham Avenue to Highway 401,
7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Highway 401 – Southbound ramps at Yonge Street exit,
7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Marine Parade Drive – full road, from Humber Bay Park East to Waterfront Drive, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Waterfront Drive – full road, from Marine Parade Drive to Palace Pier Court, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lake Shore Boulevard – Eastbound Curb lane, from Humber River to Ontario Place Boulevard. 8:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

* N/B curb lane open for condominium access.
** Access to roads on the south side will be permitted when safe to do so.
