Stepping Out is a book about locs and process-free hair for natural hair wearers and locticians. Stepping Out is taken natural hair to another level. An easy-to-read book with case studies taken from actual clients, as they experience the ‘break-up of make-up’ hair affair.

This book has come out at a time when it is the most need. Earlier grooming practices are leaving loc wearers with thinning locs.

What is different about Stepping Out?

It’s not just a book about natural hairstyles and esthetics but explains the variety of hair textures and shapes and products that are good to use for your unique hair. There is no assembly-lined remedy for Black hair. One product does not fit all hairs.

“Along with the case studies and examples, I identified common challenges and issues that can face process-free hair and dreads by bringing in examples and offering concrete advice on how to tackle and resolve teams bringing in the specification by example and offers concrete advice on how to tackle and resolve them”.

Stepping Out gives the respect that the locs and process-free hair deserve.
