Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation Receives Sanis Decision from the Court of Appeal of Ontario
TORONTO, Dec. 23, 2011, /CNW/ – Shoppers Drug Mart Corporation (TSX: SC) today announced that the Court of Appeal of Ontario has allowed the appeal from the Order of the Divisional Court dated February 3, 2011, and restored the prohibition of private label generic drug products in the Province of Ontario.
The Company is disappointed that the decision of the Ontario Divisional Court has been overturned by the appeal and is in the process of reviewing the judgment and considering its options.
